Find out how the most expensive coffee in the world is produced on this private day trip to Tangkuban Perahu. Visit the impressive volcano, and combine both plans in one day with this tour from Bandung.
After picking you up at your hotel in Bandung at 8 am, we'll take you by minibus to the Tangkuban Perahu volcano. The journey will take us approximately one hour.
Once we arrive at this great stratovolcano you'll have three hours free to tour its grounds. You'll enjoy the panoramic views from the viewpoints on its upper part and get close to its crater. There you'll discover boiling water sources that show that this area is still active. In fact, the volcano has erupted up to 17 times in the last two centuries.
Afterwards, we'll meet again to go to the Kopi Luwak coffee centre, located in the city of Lembang. On the way, the driver will give us some background information about this popular drink that has become one of the most exclusive on the planet.
We'll spend an hour and 30 minutes getting to know the civets, a small mammal capable of detecting the best coffee beans. We'll discover more during the visit!
The last stop of the tour will be in a strawberry field where you'll become real coffee pickers. You will get in touch with the most traditional side of Indonesia, a unique experience!
The tour will end at 5 pm leaving you at your hotel.
