Ibirapuera Park Tour
Tour Details
On the day of the tour, we'll meet at the entrance of Ibirapuera Park, where we'll start a walking tour to discover the great attractions of the green lung of São Paulo. Off we go!
First, we'll head to the MAC, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo. Although we won't have access to its interior, we'll enjoy its spectacular viewpoint, where we'll take in a stunning panoramic view of the park.
From here, we’ll walk to the sculpture garden, where we’ll also find the Japanese Garden, a true architectural gem and a haven of tranquility within the park. Did you know that it was donated by the Japanese government to commemorate the 400th anniversary of São Paulo?
The next stop on the Ibirapuera Park tour will be the planetarium, a building with a very curious shape. Another place we'll visit will be the Ibirapuera Metal Bridge, one of the most photographed spots in the park.
We’ll continue our tour toward the old sawmill. We’ll walk through the bamboo tunnel and arrive at a spot where locals often practice yoga or martial arts outdoors. There’s an incredible sense of peace and tranquility here!
To wrap up, we'll take a look at the Manequinho Lopes nursery, where we'll see a large collection of 200 different species of plants - nature in its purest form!
After 2 hours and 15 minutes exploring Ibirapuera Park, we'll wrap up the guided tour at the nursery.
