Route and stops
The Stockholm sightseeing bus follows two routes with more than 27 stops at the main attractions around Sweden's majestic capital city. Throughout the journey, you will enjoy English language audio commentary about the monuments and landmarks you can see around you.
Some of the most interesting locations you will encounter are Riddarholm Church, the Royal Palace (Stockholms slott), the Vasa Maritime Museum, the City Hall (Stadshuset), the Gröna Lund amusement park, and the famous Ice Bar.

How it works
The ticket is valid for 24 or 72 consecutive hours from the moment it is used for the first time. For example, if a 24-hour ticket is used for the first time on Monday at 3 pm, it will be valid until 3 pm on Tuesday.
During this time you can hop on and off the bus as many time as you want, which means you can discover monuments and landmarks such as Nybroviken, Skeppsholmen (one of the islands of Stockholm), the ABBA museum, and Skansen - an open-air museum and zoo.
Although when you book you'll be asked to select a start day, you can start using the service within 3 months from the selected date.
When making the reservation you will be asked to specify a start date for your ticket, you then have a period of 15 days from that date in which to activate the pass.
After making the reservation, we will send you an email with a voucher that you must present on the first bus that you take.
Times and frequency
- Red line (bus): Departures every half an hour, between 10 am and 4 pm. The complete route takes a total of 100 minutes.
- Green line (boat): Departures every half an hour, between 10 am and 4 pm. The complete route takes 55 minutes.
The Stockholm tourist bus ticket includes a ticket for the tourist boat (green line). Please note that this service only operates between 27 April and 1 September.
Stop 7 on the route is currently temporarily out of service due to road works in the city. Occasional road closures can mean that the total journey time of the route is extended to up to two and a half hours. We recommend that you plan your time well, especially if you need to return to a cruise by a certain time or are on a tight schedule.
